Gull Nawaz Butt who scarified his life for Independence of Kashmir was entitled BABA-E-JKNSF (father of JKNSF) on his unforgettable services for JKNSF and Kashmir. He endured lot of barriers during his struggle. He was the first great leader who conducted diplomatic policies about to denouncing and crossing the ominous LOC at Chakothi point with the activists of JKNSF.

Jammu Kashmir National Students Federation (JKNSF) is a left winged student’s organization. JKNSF is no doubt the largest and oldest progressive students organizastion in P.O.K (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) which had formed on 22nd September 1966.
The first president of JKNSF was Mr. Mumtaz Hussain Rathore (Former Prime Minister of P.O.K). JKNSF has been working for student’s rights and complete independence of (Jammu Kashmir State) since past 44 year.
